Chorizo Posted April 16, 2013 Share Posted April 16, 2013 So this weekend i went to visit my cousin who just bought a neon srt4. Its mostly stock besides a stg1 clutch and bigger intercooler. He is a newb to turbo cars and hasnt really raced in one. My stg2 setup: Up n Downpipe, high flow cat, quadtip exh., Bov, AP with infamous stg2 map(17.5psi) stock clutch We decided to race. I thought i was gonna rape him. But this is how it really went down. We raced a few times from a roll of about 10-20mph and shutting down around 80 1st gear was about even 2nd he started pulling pretty quick 3rd goin into 4th he was about 1 car length ahead and still pulling slowly He seemed to gain distance everytime i shifted. From what ive read i thought stg 2 LGT should keep up with a stock sti so I was really suprised:eek: about ready to shoot myself from the embarassment. Are the SRTs normally that fast? Have any of you raced one? Could something possibly be wrong with my car thats affecting its performance? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
