Tuning Recommendation Please....

Ask and ye shall receive. '13 STI (same car), stage 2, one with and one without the intake.

Now show the logs with the timing and fuel curves. I see a lot of people not adjusting timing tables to compensate for different MAF scaling.

Obligatory 'build thread' Increased capacity to 2.7 liters, still turbo, but no longer need spark plugs.

Both were about 18.5 psi, about 14* at peak, with intake about 23.5-24* at redline, without intake about 24-24.5* at redline. Both 11.2:1 AFR.

That doesn't line up with my own experience on customer cars. Personal experience > anecdotal evidence every time.

You do realize I tune professionally and have customers as well? You realize I tuned that 2013 STI I showed the plots of?

For 02-07 WRX/STI, I have yet to see a difference with an intake, but you need to keep up, things change.

Like I always say - Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.

Why tell him to "prove it" if you're just going to write it off anyway?

I don't think his plots prove anything and it doesn't gel with my own research. I'm certainly not interested in an off-topic pissing match over this.

fahr_side does have a point, and I'd like to see better evidence on that dyno. Best way to prove it, is another dyno run on the same car with the same "post-intake tune", but remove the KST65mm intake and replace with the stock intake. That would prove whether the intake+tune has made the improvement, or whether it just happened to be a finer "tweaked" tune over the previous one. If HP is the same increase with stock and post-intake tune, then your argument is irrelevant.
