Currently all 18-wheel drivers will need to do an automated breathalyzer test before they can continue. If the test fails the driver is not permitted to continue and the cops are called in. If the driver is above 0.02% then legal action will be taken. An old article about the idea: Alcohol boom gate can be tested in Gothenburg Ben Kendall 2012-12-17 Swedish police will trial automated alcohol testing in a bid to reduce the number of alcohol affected truck drivers coming in on the ferries.
