Thanks guys, no luck on the airbag yet though, still hoping to find answers before taking a chance on the airbag blowing up if not connected right. Of course I could do like someone else I saw who put that same wheel in their 3rd gen and not connect the air bag and disconnect the light bulb for the air bag warning, but I'd prefer to have a working airbag.

I received from Cpundyk a 22mm Ralitek rear sway bar on Tuesday, so I'll probably pop that sucker in this weekend.

Thanks people!

No luck on the steering wheel yet, haven't totally given up, but leaning towards selling it and just getting the "JDM" momo 4-spoke since I know it fits with my existing airbag, even though it's the same exact shape steering wheel that's in there now, the fact it's black and has Momo logo at least spices things up a little bit.

I'm changing out my exhaust in a day or so, this stainless straight through muffler is just too damn much drone and I hate driving it on the highway. I'm getting a dynomax muffler which is nicely baffled and a black chrome oval tip and call the exhaust done.

Might put the 22mm ralitek bar in this week, still undecided if I'm gonna re-sell it or use it.

I really need to address the crinkled pass side back door next, so I've been looking for a door shell.

So I sold the bar to Corey, I decided that between the HTS shocks set to almost full stiff, the H&R springs and the wheels and tires, there isn't much body roll anyhow and the car already handles very well now. For me, it's not like I'm ever going to autocross or rally this thing, so for what I need, the stock setup is fine.

I changed my muffler out to a Dynomax Super-Turbo and a black-chrome oval tip. I like how it looks, and I love how it sounds. The other muffler really sounded great, deep, thumpy, pretty loud, but I couldn't deal with the drone. This one is barely louder than stock IMO, it's definitely louder and has a nice tone, but the main thing is there is NO drone. Also put a K&N drop-in filter in place. I can't tell any difference, but whatever, wasn't expecting much.

Old muffler which I want to get $50 for:

New one, kinda hard to see, I'll take better pics:

So today I went over my buddies body shop and we're going to get the right rear door fixed soon, and this car will be like the average girl who scored and got the extreme makeover. I've put I think 2500 or so into this car since I got it. Money I will never get back I know, but money that is well spent IMO.

No idea on the part number, I'll try to remember to ask. The tip was separate, I picked a few out from the books they had and they brought them in for me. I wasn't planning on the black chrome but I love how it looks so that's the one I went with. Not really any chrome on the car besides the grille anyhow so the black chrome really matches nicely.

Thanks everyone!!!!!

sweet car. any idea on the part number dynomax and did the tip come on it?

Corey, here's the part #: Dynomax 17731 and under that it's got 3 120. I took a pic of it for you.

Painted it black on Saturday. Can't tell in the pic, but I taped around the chrome and so it's just a nice clean line where the black stops and the black-chrome starts on the tip.

It sounds really good! I did put a massive resonator on the previous system to try and quiet it down, so that probably makes it quieter than it would be without. In any event, they are very well baffled mufflers (Dynomax) so they should not be that loud regardless. The tone is really nice, I love it.

Not sure man, the car sits very level, slightly raked to the front, which H&R springs are known for dropping the front more than the rear a little bit. If the springs are installed into the shocks / struts correctly, it should be identical if you have the same setup though. Wish I could be more helpful on that.

As for the grille question in your PM, the chrome around the outer ring was bubbled in a couple places so I got an exacto blade under it and just started peeling. It took a good hour plus, and my fingers were sore. Probably worth the 45 bucks to get a repro from ebay and save yourself the headache (finger ache LOL)....
