Thanks! Here's a teaser pic till I can take a better shot in daylight. These wheels are extremely flush, probably going to shave the fender lips, although they haven't rubbed yet.

I think the rear wing is the main element that's missing, that will be on sometime next week after paint.

Thanks! Yes, universal ones, super easy to mock up a template to gauge where the holes should be and got a bunch of body fastener screws from my buddies body shop to make the install a breeze.

Oh damn, that looks awesome!!!

Yea, the spoiler's going to complete it nicely. Once the spoiler's on I think the exterior will be taken care of. Then you can get to work on the engine :)

plasti-dipped the grille, took off the outer chrome ring. Peeling that chrome was a PITA, especially around the sides, but I got it all off and lightly sanded the plastic before spraying it.

Put my business stickers on the back glass last week, installed EZ-Lip on Monday, and put the rear wing on last night. I think the front lip looks great in an OEM way, and the rear wing completed the outside and makes a huge difference IMO. I need to have the back passenger door fixed as you can see, but I'm pretty much done now. Muffler for sure in a month or two and I'll probably get Whiteline rear sway bar, but that's about it for me. I love driving this simple car, it's smooth, comfy and low-key and I love being able to drive into any parking lot without wondering if I can get over speed bumps or up the ramp without getting stuck.

Thank you guys! I forgot one more thing for sure I'm doing which I'm gonna start ordering today: LED dash light conversion. The dim stock bulbs really date the car IMO and they're just so, dim. I think based on all the write-ups I've seen, I'm going with white bulbs so the gauges will be kind of teal looking.

I'd really like to put a double din Navi system in the car, but we shall see. I think I may end up selling my M45 and use money from that to do a few things like Navi which I wasn't really going to do, and the STI seats and Momo steering wheel - all things I'd like to do, but probably won't if I keep the M45. But if I sell the M it opens up more possibilities for this car......

Whoa, hold on a second. I got you covered there... correction, Mighty Car Mods has got you covered there haha.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-ALYArl5S4]iPad Dash Install - YouTube[/ame]

Not only is it a how-to guide, it's a how-to guide for your exact car. And you could use the iPad's calendar feature and sync it up with your iPhone or computer and get calendar info in your car for appointments and stuff on the fly like a bawss!!!

Also, if you sell the M45, go crazy and drop an EJ257 in this thing :) Hahahaha.

I was basically creaming my pants during the entire episode... Too soon?

Yeah, you should probably increase your stamina bro :icon_neut

But if you wanna do that, check out their episodes on the 1JZ-swapped Cressida, and all their episodes about modding their MY09 Forester XT (and get angry because Australia got a Forester XT with a manual transmission!!!!)

The only "retards" in the "retarded looking stance" are the morons talking shit out their ass when they haven't got a clue based on actual experiences. They swear a tire will just pop off a wheel if it's stretched, which is funny since I probably know in the 70+ range of people with stretched tires, but yet to witness any of the disasters they predict.

Sorry people have different opinions than you. Maybe you shouldn't judge the entire forum based on the fact that some people don't agree with you.

As a metalhead going to college with people who are obsessed with the new Kendrick Lamar album, I would know that getting over differences is not that hard at all. And running away because your ideas are different doesn't do anything good for the stance scene :/

It's a shame; I would have really liked to see this build to the finish.

If you're still leaving, see ya. If not, glad you're staying.

I put a muffler on it yesterday, polished stainless with square, slash cut double wall tips. It looks perfect, just what I had visualized for the shape of the body, but holy hell it was loud. I've put exhausts on cars for 20 years now, and never would have imagined it could be so loud. So I went back in today and had them put in the biggest resonator they had, made a huge difference (the stock resonator is about 8" vs. the 17" on now). Still louder then I had anticipated, but I think this is tolerable. My Q45 with rear muffler delete was not nearly this loud, my M45 with the whole center section cut out and new straight pipes with H pipe and resonator removal and the same type of muffler is not nearly as loud as this car.

Put a set of fake Hella horns on it (sickspeed / ebay) Saturday. I am definitely a horn user, and the stock horn was embarrassing. This setup is much louder, sounds European if that even makes any sense, but I prefer the deep, solid blast from my Infiniti M45 way more than this. Oh well, I guess it looks cool and it's definitely a big improvement over stock.

I'm going to order a Whiteline sway bar for the rear shortly, but I keep seeing posts about 22mm sway, but on Whiteline site or the boxer4racing site, they only show 20mm bars. I'm probably just going to get that one, unless someone can point me to the 22bar part #.
