phez
Hey Guys and Girls, Noobie to the forum from Australia, looking to purchase a 2005 model Liberty GT (2.0L turbo) through works Novated Lease scheme and was putting the options on the car, so might as well go for the works. I saw on the Subaru Australia Website (http://subaru.com.au/explore/liberty/accessories.asp?body=Sedan&grade=GT) the following front bar. I have not been able to find a proper photo with this option. I did a search on here using the part number, but it could be different from the AU to US to JPN. http://subaru.com.au/accessories/images/AccessoryLarge_23472_19096.jpg If someone could point out pics or links to GTs with that front bar it will be appreciated. Also, for $2500 AU (fitted with CIBIE lights), do think is over priced ? There is also the front mesh grill option for $600 Thanks for the great forums ! axis008
We don't have that bumper here in the U.S./Can., but I really like the way it looks. I also don't know the conversion for AU$ to US$, so I can't tell you if the pricing is good. It does look great though. -ben
apexjapan
It kind of depends on the exchange rate between Australia and Japan - you can see the kit here: http://accessory.subaru.co.jp/legacy/kit/aero.html And the bumper costs about 136,500yen in Japan from a dealer. Add in mailing costs, and that's probably close to the price you are being quoted in Australia. phez
Thanks for the response guys, I do like the look of it and I have not seen one running around in Sydney with it on. Price wise, basically I am getting it "thrown in" as part of the deal, so it would be basically whether I like it or not, but its always hard to tell when you can't see it in the flesh. Im thinking of the future when I go for a front mount, it will provide a very nice air path Pitty they dont give you larger pics on that website. Gire
I would be a happy boy if I had that set up above. I say go for it!
