Ferenczy33
Thought I'd share for any of you classic muscle car fanatics out there because this car is so cool. Back in December of last year, my dad purchased a 1966 Nova II with a LS2 Magnacharger in it on an impulse buy. The guy he bought it from basically does nothing but LS2 conversions on old muscle cars, leaving everything pretty much stock, except for the motor and frame mods to handle the extra horsepower. Stock interior, original paint, etc. Here is the video of the car on the dyno on YouTube from the original builder before my dad got a hold of it. Since my dad got his hands on it he has finished the complete restoration and repainted the original stock color. Now he is selling it as the car is an aboslute beast and for my dad being 70+ years old, a little to much for him to handle. I will be placing an add online for him through hotrodhotline.com, but also told him I would post it up on several other sites. Here are the details... 66 Chevy II -A true sleeper. LS2 out of '05 Corvette. Computer and wiring is all GM. Magnacharger TVS 1900 cog drive; air to water intercooler with custom made water tank. Comp Cams Kit. Trans is Tremic 6 speed. Front clip is Jim Weimer's Hot Rod Garage. Rear end is 12 bolt posi 3.73 gears with moly axles. Caltrace bars with frame extensions. Car has all original sheet metal and original NOS seat covers. Gets great gas mileage and fun to drive. Very strong car. He is asking $42,000 or reasonable offer. If anyone is actually interested in this car, let me know and I can provide the contact info for my dad.

dtmenace
Kids were tougher back then the other option would be a wagon w/ the rear facing jump seat, but not sure my wife would be into it...

Just gotta teach em to put there hands out during an accident to stop the vehicle from hitting them.

Penguin
Clearly it is a bit under powered. I would suggest putting a newer blown LSx 454 in it to at least allow it to maintain highway speed up hills and such.
