mk6933
Not sure about warranty... but that's a GREAT deal for Tokicos.
ragman
Just looked at their online catalog which says: Lifetime limited warranty for all shocks purchased for street use. Products used for competition are not covered under warranty.
mattg
Are they comparable in performance to Koni? Do you have to cut your front struts for install?
DoctorLGT
Dont Forget: Only Spec-B tophats (the normal ones fit but are not good enough for this install) these are made for JDM cars.
mattg
Ahh. And if I run Spec B top hats on my car it will raise the front end, no? I have JDM Pinks.
DoctorLGT
from the research I did the spec B top hats raise you 5/8"
mattg
Yep I wouldn't do that myself. Oh well, back to leaning towards Koni's.
liljonson
I thought these shocks were discontinued? I personally would stick with konis or bilsteins. Something you know you can get replacements for

AZP Installs
We've installed a lot of shocks/struts on the leggys. Our breakdown roughly is: KYB- near stock replacements. Slight improvement. Tokico- nice upgrade, no cutting required, adjustable. More of a rougher Japanese feel than the Konis, difficult to find replacements. Konis- closest to a BMW German feel, easy to get warranty work done, downside is the install and cutting the oem housings. -Mike Paisan http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/145749898/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg http://www.whiteline.com.au/images/logos/perf1.jpg 11+ Years Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Subaru Enthusiasts.
