2point5GT_Dan
That sounds like a blast actually. Im 15 minutes north of bangor. I got the Stud Mill Rd on the next road over from where i live. So I got endless miles of logging roads to hit. Im thinking bout putting 215's on my Legacy to get it to sit taller. Its got 205's on it now. Like to put forester struts in so i can give it some of a lift. but all these things cost money and thats one thing i dont have. but yea when ever its planned out and stuff. let me know, love to go! first number is width, second # is height as a ratio, 3rd number is wheel size. you want XX5/THISNUMBERBIGGER/R15 or R16

2point5GT_Dan
Until the magic smoke gets out taking apart an outback in the middle of summer in the junkyard... It still worked after it cooled down. I'm ordering another after the last one grew legs and not getting gear oil in it this time.

2point5GT_Dan
Wagon rear suspension time. Low miles outback springs, KYBs, cleaned up top hats and dust boot. The rear end was high enough to use the back of the thing as a work bench. Was nice. DRIVES SO MUCH BETTER NOW. The bottom eye bushings were blown as where the struts. I also got the snows mounted on the XT rims and put them on today. Looks so much better. California rear subframe. Whiteline lateral links. Whiteline rear diff bushings. Proflex subframe bushings. Got the first rear diff bushing out and made a tool out of it to get the other one out. Way easier: Will get to painting + bushing install + install in car eventually. And managed to get shit on the roof hooning yesterday: Also been buttoning up a Jeep motor swap: Jeep 4.0HO EFI into a 1973 CJ5.
GipsySpec.B
nice, My dad has a 73 CJ5 we dropped a Chevy ZQ3 350 from a 1970 Vette into about a year ago (THAT SOUND), the transmission needs work now, refuses to go into reverse and is starting to feel like a soup bowl when shifting. Great little rigs to work on.

2point5GT_Dan
Picked up a baja turbo hood from a wreck. It is dented to hell but might clean up OK. I'll mess with it eventually. Friday I left work early to dicker in the garage. Needed to burn vacation time and it was nice out so the garage wasn't miserable. Swapped on my door and replacement glass. The original door had a rust spot that I ground down then just randomly farted chassis saver on. It looked like shit. I got a door, fender, and bumper cover from a part out that were color matched. The window had metal in it from welding the quarter, so the tint bubbled. I got a junkyard glass and had the tint guy tint it, then I loaded the tinted glass into the replacement door, and filled it with sound deadening then got it on the car. Door building station: Put the trim I painted back in, fixed a rear brake light wiring, and finished painting the wagon exterior.
2point5GT_Dan
Haven't done much with the wagon except fill it with 1/4 an impreza, two dudes worth of tools, a generator, and an AX15 jeep trans. Drove all around without issue:
