The best bang for an LGT's buck? Leaving it stock. I Donated thefultonhow Posted July 10, 2012 I Donated Share Posted July 10, 2012 Agile only tunes Cobb APs. But I heard TurboXS does open-source, if you want a dyno tune. A tune from Agile is going to be $1000 when you include the cost of the AP. An e-tune is much cheaper.
Brett
i already have the accessport, and i plan to get a different turbo soon, (keep it a sleeper still) but i hear alot of hype about turboxs. alot of locals use them. should i go there for a good tune or since i already have the ap, or just go to agile and dyno tune? @max capacity - i don't have a laptop, so no self tuning for me. SCHM1AN
Anyone looking for an even bigger "bang" for your buck, try this.
boxkita
you dont say what kind of "bang" you want. Street, autox, track, dragstrip, show&shine? What's your buck? $50, $100, $1000, $5000, I won the lottery. For years, my best bang for the buck was the DRL delete. When I started tracking, swaybars with solid endlinks was a huge change handling wise. Had I known, I would have had a light tune put on the stock motor early on to fix some of the issues. As you are already shopping for a turbo, I'll make it simple - you're doing it wrong. A new turbo is not going to make you happy unless you match everything else to the turbo. Figure out what you want to do with car, then match the parts to your desires. Your build will be simple and you'll get a great car. I Donated thefultonhow Posted July 11, 2012 I Donated Share Posted July 11, 2012 Well, why do you want coilovers? Do you want to slam the car? Or do you want racetrack-level handling?
Brett
i just want to lower it a bit and set the front lower than the rear. then adjust them when necessary. i'm not wasting the money on springs... or racelands. but it's all for looks
I Donated thefultonhow Posted July 11, 2012 I Donated Share Posted July 11, 2012 If it's all for looks, I hear BC BR coilovers are good for that.
05 LegacyGT
If it's just for looks why not spend $200 on lowering springs instead of $1000 for coils?
