qwick911
so i know this is time consuming but if it's not off by now. i have to deal with stuff like that at work all the time,i'm a machinist.(stripped studs, broken bolts) except i have to save the thousand dollar tools the bolts and studs are into. as a last resort (which it seems your there) i use a die grinder with a 1/8 carbide burr on the end. grind the nut at the top and bottom =180 degrees so the when you get through it will just fall apart. good luck
SpecBGuy
i havent been on the forum lately but i finally got the dam thing off. it took long because i wanted to go to dealer and take it out but ive been lazy to get oil change from dealer and went local shop:redface:. i have 08 with 26k miles which shows i dont drive much i went to Glendale subaru in so.cali it took almost 3hrs including oil change and car wash. the tech tried to take it out without damaging my wheels but i guess it failed i just told him do what you gotta do. damage wasnt too bad as i expected. besides the long wait at the dealer the worst part was not seeing any BRZ on the lot :mad:which i really wanted to see and sit in.. ive posted pic on the first post but another here
