scoobyscoodle
Make sure you get a good set of tires first and foremost. An aftermarket turbo inlet is useless on a factory turbo, save the money on that. Your car shouldn't have a cat in the UP, so no need to replace that. The strut tower brace won't really do anything, it's mostly underhood eye candy, they do look cool, but just know that going in. I would strongly suggest you replace struts/springs, or struts first. Lowering springs on oem struts rides pretty poorly in my experience. I would also replace the rear bushing on the front lca, the offset positive caster ones are my preference. Also, if you do get lowering springs, add the whiteline RC/bumpsteer kit. Pads and clean fluid bled properly are essential. SS lines are nice to have, but not necessary and won't make a huge difference.
Max Capacity
Pretty much what he said. But I'm still running the oem TB hose. I don't see any need to replace it. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. I Donated thefultonhow Posted June 12, 2012 I Donated Share Posted June 12, 2012 An aftermarket turbo inlet is useless on a factory turbo, save the money on that. Not necessarily true. I wouldn't replace it until you FUBAR the stock one, though. I'm on my third stock one, and none of the failures had anything to do with my turbo -- they all had to do with the lack of durability of the stock one. I have heard that the stock one on 07+ is more durable, though. And yes, you need the AP or a Tactrix to tune for your other mods.
scoobyscoodle
I agree with that. What I meant is that unless the oem turbo inlet is damaged, it's unnecessary, no performance gains with a factory turbo.
I Donated thefultonhow Posted June 12, 2012 I Donated Share Posted June 12, 2012 Frankly, no performance gains with ANY turbo. It's just a durability/reliability thing.
scoobyscoodle
Unless you go with a 3" inlet.

buckminster
Will a stage 2 ofs accewsport map work with a dp or will I have to get a protune?
LouzGT
The stage 2 map will work with just a dp but its always better to get a protune not necessary tho.
scoobyscoodle
Stage 2 Cobb map will work with DP, and with or without catback, factory intake. DP is the only requirement though.

dr_sharp
In S and S# si-drive only affects throttle response. i-mode limits boost too, I'm not sure if it limits boost to a specific pressure or a specific % of max pressure. lol
