This has been a educational. I will be needing new LCA bushing in the near future as mine are on the way out. I will get the WL since I am already running the WL f/r SB's. Thanks OP and the rest with the good information.

When you are ready keep us in mind to purchase them. We can have them drop shipped directly to you! :)

The WLs are great products and they stand by them 100% if you purchase them through an authorized dealer such as ourselves.

After re-reading this and several others. I see that it is more money to replace the LCA instead of just the bushing. My question is this does the cost in labor save the difference or is it a wash? I have seen where its easy for something to go wrong. just asking before I order my new LCA bushings or maybe new LCA's. It is lowered if that makes a difference.

So where can we buy these "groupN" bushings?

I got mine from a friend who preps rally cars, but you can buy them direct. I don't see the Leg or 3G Impreza platforms on the website but Hardrace does have them. GH fitment is the same, so is GR up to '11. Just call and ask.

Buy the Perrin ones. they are a spherical bushing that only pivots on the axis it is supposed to. Love mine. I did them with my coilovers about 70,000 miles ago and both have been some of the best money spent on the car.

What people with coilovers on their cars think is acceptable in terms of NVH, or what they can separate out from the NVH caused by their coilovers, is quite different from what people with fixed-perch suspensions experience. The Powerflex spherical poly bushings I had on the car before would have been unnoticeable if I ran coilovers. With my Koni setup the harshness was boderline and the squeaking definitely noticeable.

I had a slight increase in VH, but no noise with my AVO Offset Rear LCA PU bushes. Nearly 60K on them, with no tears, breaks, chips, or squeaks since install. Car is lowered 1.25" with WL RC/BSK and stock front SB with AVO PU FSB bushes. All the PU bits do get lubed from time to time, but other than than, they've been issue/worry-free.

The solid ones are not good for a DD car, unless you are running a full race car as your DD. The Whiteline and AVO ones work well for DDs, we've installed several sets as oem replacements for soccer moms who just wanted something that wouldn't break. Whiteline now offers OEM replacement ones as well, which shouldn't breakdown as quickly as the OEM ones.

Hi Mike,

I have been to the shop a couple of times and you guys do great work. I'm getting a lot of shaking in my steering wheel when braking and suspect it may be the LCA's what is the cost for an install on the whiteline bushings and are they a noisy replacement?

the metal center is eccentric, so you spin it when in the car and it moves the back of the control arm in and out which in turn moved the ball joint location back and forth. that is a caster change. look at a picture to see what i mean.

I have the kit sitting in my garage. I was looking at some posts and people recommend using a pin spanner. There are small 3mm holes running around the circumference of the metal ring. I'm guessing that where the adjustments are made.

Have you seen the caster change when driving on uneven pavement and/or potholes?

Thanks!

Not much noise over oem, especially here in Tristate.

It may be your rotors that are the issue, we can check before jumping into the LCA bushings.

Pricing runs 380 installed for the whiteline rear and inner bushings for the front lower control arms.

Figure on another 100 for an alignment when it's all done as well.

My car failed PA state inspection today due to torn bushings...so good as time as any to upgrade!

I'm planning on getting a set of the Whiteline lower inner front bushing (W0506), however I'm having trouble debating what to get when it comes to the other set of bushings.

I realize the Whiteline KCA334 set allows you to adjust the caster, however i'm not to interested in messing with my caster. Has anyone used the Whiteline W53353 set over the KCA334's? It looks like the W53353's are a just a direct polyurethane replacement over OEM's but i'm not sure since no one has mentioned them so far. Would the KCA334's be the better choice over the W53353's (if i just left the caster at 0) or would the W53353's be just fine for me?

Thoughts?

The WL stock replacements may be a good idea if you don't plan on changing the caster settings. If you want shoot us an email to sales@azpinstalls.com and we can help you decide which is better and hopefully sell you a set.

Alright hey guys, so check it out... First of all this thread upon discovering it, seems to be VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL to my area of concern, being the LCA's, so the feedback overall in here is a nice find for me! :)

That said, knowing what some of you do, and coming from some of the solid members I see that usually give feedback including Shops and very well versed owners of the car... I'm really thinking these "Whiteline" bushings seem to be a perfect fit for what I'm looking for. Is it safe to assume that If I'm just looking for a solid alternative to the garbage OEM bushings, and this will be for my daily driver, nothing crazy needed for performance and would like it to be most comparable to stock "Feel and Noise", is this the way to go? If so, I plan to order a set for both left/right this week! Cuz this little clunk sound is driving me NUTS.

P.S. As a sidenote, similarly to what some have said... I do not wish to have any issues with adjusting caster/camber etc. Just want the stock ride setup, with a better material in it's place :D

And are these the parts that I should be looking at?

W0506 Control arm - lower inner front bushing

W53353 Control arm - lower inner rear bushing
