Moderators BarManBean Posted May 8, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 8, 2012 Need a lot more info, maintenance history, pictures, etc. That price seems quite high to me at first glance... subiedad51
77k on a 07 is normal. The car is 5 to 6 years old. My 07 has 118k on it. As for 22k that is alot for an 07. Is it from a dealer?
.Catalyst.
Just for reference, I purchased my '06 spec.B with 62K (unmodded bone stock) from a Subaru dealer for 19K last August. 2007 is nice because you get the 6spd, R180 rear diff and aux-in on the radio. I prefer the color combo in the '06 personally and am glad I scored it, but I'd jump all over an '07! My spec.B [#163] Project Thread with Pictures Get CryoTuned! passionincar
KBB is around 19K... 22K is very high... you can always find one lower than that in here.
09obpleg
It is at a dealer, that's one of the things that worries me is there is no maint history on car fax I'll try and post the ad Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
.Catalyst.
I'd avoid buying one without history. Mine had full history and Autocheck reports. Also think there ought to be significant wiggle room at that price. My spec.B [#163] Project Thread with Pictures Get CryoTuned!

dr_sharp
Must be more expensive because of the 'ground effects' 77k is relatively low mileage for an 07 but if they can't show maintenance or carfax history I'd run away. lol
W.K.S.
I'd avoid buying one without history. Mine had full history and Autocheck reports. Also think there ought to be significant wiggle room at that price. I agree. I wouldn't have bought my gt if it didnt have a complete maintenence history on the carfax (easy because the dealer i bought it from performed all maintenence on it). passionincar
If you find anything bad in carfax then stay away... good carfax are great but it doesn't mean nothing bad has happened... not all accidents/problems are reported to carfax... Ask the dealer for any paper based service records, have the car completely inspected.
rtbrjason
And.. don't pay 22k for it.. If you have to turn around and sell it you'll be lucky to get 18.
09obpleg
Thank you for all the info. I'm going to pass on this one and keep looking Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
BigBlack-V
i got my 08 spec.B two year ago with 33k miles for just under $26k if that puts anything into perpective however my car came with alot of extra's I was 0. And I'm still a zero.
lookingforanusp
perhaps you should see how negotiable the dealer is on pricing an if necessary you could request a car fax report from the dealer. They certainly won't refuse you.
09obpleg
The car got sold. But they had the carfax up and no service records oh well Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
