fahr_side
I had no idea the ecu had logic to interpret and/or predict OL fueling trims because the narrowband is clearly not designed for WOT monitoring. I did not know range D means that much percentage is changed from there on and higher ranges. Good to know For one thing, the MAF scaling on later models is deliberately on the side where the car will normally run richer than called for in the tables and let the ECU trim fuel leaner in CL, based off the values the O2 sensor reads. For another, the logic is set up to use the D-range trim in OL because it's assumed that any condition that exists in CL to cause the system to run either rich or lean, whether mechanical or through climatic conditions, will still be present in OL and both could and should be compensated for. In the absence of reliable input from the O2 sensor the best data available is the calculated trim from range D, and applying that is better than just reading from the table and applying the temperature compensations alone. At least that seems to be what Subaru was thinking... bmx045
Interesting. I love having a wideband, there's no question or wondering what you're doing while wot. at the moment, and I think I need to tweak the scaling, I'm running 11.3 WOT where my targets are 11.13. No knock so I'm procrastinating.
Mega Users paintpollz Posted March 27, 2012 Author Mega Users Share Posted March 27, 2012 leak after THAT leak is fixed and ECU is reset once again. Apparantly I have another one, but I can't find it. romraiderlog_20120326_200759.csv "Remember Danny - Two wrongs don't make a right but three rights make a left." bmx045
that LV does not show a shit ton of knock. your trims are still off so track that down and reassess the small knock you do have. at the moment that knock is not to be concerned about. Mega Users paintpollz Posted March 27, 2012 Author Mega Users Share Posted March 27, 2012 I think that it's either my MAF O ring that is ripped apart, or my O2 sensor is going. bmx045
If the maf does not have an air tight seal that could cause your trim issue. Autozone has an oring kit you can buy that has all size orings. Harbor freight might...worth a shot

m sprank
O2 sensor going will manifest itself in fluctuating idle, stumbles and a nice CEL. Harbor Freight should have the o-rings in their "kit". At least one of them, they sell at least 3 different kits, lol.
bmx045
I amazingly found one suitable for my top injector oring. Believe it or not. It said petroleum product safe orings. So win. Ill have to get the brand kit from my friend. Very very handy.
m sprank
Harbor Freight sells Viton (fuel rated) o-rings in a kit. Never checked, but there might be the proper size for fuel injectors in there.

mr.hicksta
Windows 7 is what Vista should've been. Vista = rushed release so customers were essentially beta testers. I'm running Windows 7 Pro on my netbook and have it stripped down so it's running great. No complaints at all
