I just ordered springs the other day the tein S.tech. I went to a shop yesterday to ask how much it would be to install them and they gave me a quote for $700.....I was wondering roughly how long does it take to put all 4 on?

Seeing you are in NJ, should have gotten in touch with us. We carry those springs and can do the install.

Currently we charge $200 for spring installs. Bundled with an alignment we charge $300.

$700 is way too much. You should be able to do it yourself in 4-5 hrs with only hand tools. Having a friend definitely helps. Your car is relatively new, so you wouldn't have to deal with rusted or seized-up bolts which should make the install easier.

takes me 1hr. you all are too slow.

Showoff. We hold the record at AZP for an 02 wrx spring job. 27 min, 3 guys, hand tools, from lug nut loosen to lug nut tighten...

Don't make me have to get a team together to do this in 10 minutes and post a video... WRC style!!!!

We are well documented on this. Of course this was in 2002 when A, Z and P were all much younger! There was no YouTube back then and you were lucky if your cell phone did anything beyond make a phone call! Palms were in vogue at the time too! haaaaaa.

Just had Epics and Konis installed with new top hats all around, was $375 plus fabrication of a tool to reach the Koni adjusters in the rear (wagon) for an extra $50. For those of us who don't do this stuff ourselves, that seemed like a good $.

Not a bad price. We do the install for $295 but that is because we have done them a lot and have it down to a science.

I do most things myself but when I was ready to put my springs on I just went to the closest privately owned Les Schwabb and paid $250 for all four plus an alignment and popcorn while I waited.

Wow, that is ridiculously low. The book is about 6 or 7 hrs.

We charge $300 w/alignment and have otis spunkmeyer cookies and a race simulator setup (sparco seat and all).

Popcorn is always a plus...

I have s.techs too, should have them on in the next month, however the dealer gave them to me for free when I purchsed the var so I can't complain. I know a lot of people have swifts it seems or rce blacks, owell, seems the teins go the lowest before spensing 1500+ on coilovers.

Put up some pics please once you have them on :)

The S Techs are REALLY low. I was surprised how low they were out of the box before settling.

Now your just rubbing it in! If only you were closer :(

Compared to Otis Spunkmeyer, Simulator and hotdogs? Not so much.

No NOW I am rubbing it in, rumor has it that our landlord next door also has Yeungling on Tap in his workshop that folks have been known to sip a bit of :)
