slowGT
I have the torx plus 50 socket. Obviously the WRX bolts are the same thread pitch but different head shapes. Are the lengths the same? If so I can save money and reuse the LGT bolts. The pressure bolts should also work from the LGT, or no?
OutbackXT05
Id believe its all the same. The only differnce is the head of the flywheel bolts.
chutrain
I would save the possible headaches down the road. You can strip those TP50 bolts and then it'll become a major task to get them out if needed. The WRX bolts are so much easier to use.
Firepuma
The new bolts are worth it.
Sicotic
i bought a WRX Flywheel for my clutch as well. it comes with new bolts, should i use those instead?
Max Capacity
IMO if the new bolts are hex head, Yes use them. Make sure they will clear the inside of the clutch disc first. I would not use the 50+ torx POS's. The person that made them should be shot...if not worse. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).
