iSooby Posted February 10, 2012 Author Share Posted February 10, 2012 thanks! Looking into alot of suspension mods like lowering kit and sway bars. Drilled and slotted rotors. ALOT of body work! Thinking about building a frankenmotor with 2.2 heads and the current 2.5 block. Either that or drop a turboed 2.0L in it. I've got a lot of ideas but always up for suggestions! Apparently there is one from Denmark for the Outback and I found something in the US as well. Outback is from series 3, but that can not be a great problem. Did not save the links. iSooby Posted February 19, 2012 Author Share Posted February 19, 2012 so today i decided i was gonna take the spoiler off my car. i like it better without... oh and i put new stickers on... go ahead and laugh it up but i think they made it look a hell of alot better:) added like 15hp too! hehe... tell me what ya think! btw.. the plugs are only temporary... the holes will be filled this summer when i get the rest of my body work done including removing all the godforsaken pesky rust. iSooby Posted February 21, 2012 Author Share Posted February 21, 2012 :cool:so today i installed the panasonic CD player that i had in my 93 jeep into the ole legacy. i also pulled out my JL's,which are very nice speakers by the way:), as long as youre not a huge bass junkie which im not. the door panel speakers are just cheesy walmart roadmasters that i had layin around because the power basses i had wont fit. so until i figure out how to make that work they stay that way. btw car is really dirty right now cause i live on a gravel road and sometimes its just too nice out to drive wirth the windows up:) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
iSooby Posted February 21, 2012 Author Share Posted February 21, 2012 also, i am thinking about some tempory exhaust ideas. not incuding headers(for now, will be installing true dual exhaust with borla headers when i get back from basic training this summer and actually have money too put into the car) but ive hear that glass packs sound good on em, ive heard that there are some magnaflows that sound good. but ive heard a few similar cars running around town that are straight piped that sound AWESOME! what do you think i should do? and will removing the cat that doesnt have the o2 sensor on it ruin anything electronically? and will i gain any power from that? Its a red 97/98 with a 98 outback front bumper playing in the snow. It has a vibrant black muffler i believe he calls it that sounds pretty good in my opinion. Check it out! I have been contemplating something. Job is slow and money is tight. If i can get out of the lease on my Tacoma i have now i have a shot at picking up a 97LGT same color and auto with 165K on it. My buddies mom has had it since new so i know the history of it. Even helped replace headgaskets and timing belt on it a little while back. Can prob be had for $2500 or so SWEET car by the way!! And ive actually seen the video, and yeah that's what he called it but I went to shop I was gonna do my exhaust at and he hasn't even heard of it. Ill have to search around my self. And there really rare here in Iowa. And if you do see a Subaru here you'll see like a new wrx or sti or new legacy. All stock. Nothing that really turns heads and that only cause we just got a subi dealership here. Which my mom works at:) can you say DISCOUNT PARTS!
