My Legacy ate my pop it!

Recommended Posts

Mmmmm....Pop its. :)

You probably already thought of this but you can remove the lower cover if you want to spend the time. I'm assuming that you are talking about the black cover under the car that you remove for oil changes. There are four pop-its (2 in front and two on the sides) and supposedly 3 bolts holding this on.

i still have no idea what he is actually talking about... pop its? pop tarts?

...No those 25 cent rubber semi circular things that were oh so popular in the 90's, that you invert, put on a table and watch pop up...

All I know is that it's somewhere in the car  probably eaten by the lower engine cover. Anyway, anyone know the part number for the engine bay pop its so I can order some spares?

These are the smaller ones on the engine cover.

Most of the others are the larger type.

Those plastic push pins that hold most everything to the body are also easy to break There are about 20 of them that hold on the front bumper. For fun try dropping one between the radiator and frame. My dealer/parts guy gave me a handful of assortated sizes no charge.
