m sprank
Pix of the prototype Bracket used is not the production piece. It is something I made quickly to hold filter until bracket was ready. Used an Xo2 FMIC (original WRX modified for LGT) to show how even with a poor fitting FMIC the kit is serviceable and usable. http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=106435&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1319111897 http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=106436&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1319111897 http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=106437&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1319111897 http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=106438&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1319111897 http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=106439&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1319111897 http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=106440&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1319111897
FiftyTwoEighty
That fills the gap in the market quite nicely. How many washers did you need to use to get the line to clear at the banjo fitting at the turbo? I'm using two for my FP line as long as the connector is perfectly parallel to the turbo housing. It would be nice if someone came up with a banjo fitting that would clear the housing without stacking washers. Just my two cents and I don't need to tell you what that is worth. m sprank
Single washer at the turbo. No stacking. I had a long necked banjo fitting made so that the AN connection is not hitting the turbo housing. I tried to "correct" all the "issues" reported with the FP line. Then take it a few steps farther. 01rs25
Installed this today, everything went as planned with the exception of the oil filter bracket. I ended up having to use some electrical tape as the bracket wouldn't tighten enough to keep it from moving. Overall a great product! I'm very happy with my purchase! Slammed more than your girlfriend.
m sprank
What would not hold? We have installed several of these at the shop now. No issues. Brackets grab filter tight prior to "bottoming out". All "should" be identical as they were cut on a water jet. If something is "off" I will replace it. goneskiian
I got mine on Saturday. Thanks Mike! Looking forward to getting this and my 16G installed. Should I be putting some kind of sealer on the threads between banjo's and lines and filter and lines? Yes, I'm very new to this. Also, what would you use to clamp off the coolant lines. I'll be installing the turbo without changing oil and coolant. Thanks!
m sprank
No sealant should be necessary. I use clamps designed for cutting off flow thru hoses. You can get a cheap set (couple bucks) at harbor freight.
aj2four0
Any chance you have pics of the full avcs replacement? I'm beating my head against a wall figuring out exactly what I should do here.. a few pics would be worth a thousand words I'm hoping.
m sprank
Sorry. It mimics the OEM line, except I left slack up front to come into the ACVS straight (front of motor to back). I have two cars at the shop with the manifolds off and oil lines going on. I will snap a pic tomorrow and post up for everyone.
m sprank
Pix of the pre-air pump ACVS line routing. iNVAR
I want one of these for when I replace the turbo, but not ready to buy just yet... Can you just do me a favor and give me (and the forum) a heads up in this thread if you are going to stop producing them so I can grab it?

No DRFT
Received the parts in. Overall the kit looks solid. Now if we can get the hose color to be black instead of silver, that would be great because it'll match the engine bay And not to nit pick, could you guys package the items in an organized manner? I know the business is still a one man ban, but the packaging can be much improve upon. I took some pics of the kit. Thanks again. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3626-4-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3629-4-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3635-4-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3639-4-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3638-4-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3632-4-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3644-4-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3647-4-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3671-4-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/4A-FE/2005%20Subaru%20Legacy%20GT/IMG_3667-4-1.jpg I have no control over drippie. m sprank
No black available. No colors available. That specific silicone "fyre" jacket is that color and that color only. Sorry. Even the FP kit comes in a plastic bag. Just like ours. Except we give you a sticker in the bag. Sorry, I do my best.
chutrain
Product speaks for itself. No need for fancy packaging with costs passed down to the customer.
No DRFT
Right, I know the packaging doesn't have to be over the top. Just a bit more organized and labeled that's all. And this is coming from someone who works in logistics, so I see packages everyday Just food for thought. I have no control over drippie.
