Next will be installing the airbags (all wrx now so were adding in side airbags) and testing everything before installing the interior. From there I needed a brake so I jumped back over to the exhaust and finished the down-pipe and dump pipe..

Then made a custom mount to hold the hight flow fuel filter. I modified the stock fuel rails so the lines could be ran more hidden.

Then I installed and BOV to get ready to do all the vacuum lines.

Got some parts comming in but I still have plenty to do so more updates soon to follow.

Hey all sorry for the delay I just haven't had time to upload and post the new pics.

So still going on with the wiring I preped the headlights for the HID kits and new LED bulbs. There are 6000k in the headlights and 3000k in the fogs.

Then I made up a nice plate to hold all the ballasts so they were secure and clean.

Installed and wired driver's side..

Passengers side..

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x223/badwagon/Brighton/Brighton98.jpg

Then I just got sick of wiring so I decided to switch it up and start fabing the brackets to hold the rez tanks.

Oil Catch Can:

P/S and coolant tank:

Radiator Overflow is mounted just under the Master cylinder.

All the pieces just before grinding and paint..

and finally I modified the the oil breather and coolant hardline to run better with all the relocated bits.

I finished the night off painting all the rez tanks and brakets black. Ill be starting final assy of the motor and finishing up the wiring for the next update.

Lol. Sorry guys. I have been super busy trying to get this, the Foz and done and work onthe Corolla at the same time. I just haven't had time to get on the comp and post up pics. Got a good update for you today.

Most of thats left is cleanup and finish work. Which as most of us know takes the longest and never looks like you've made enough progress..

Got the Down-pipe and Dump tube finished up. We ordered a turbo heat blanket and wrap for it so it cant quite go back in yet.

Next Up was cleaning up the interior. Installed some WRX seatbelts with the belt stopper charge thingy and the side airback sensors. Not very common in the GC8s..

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x223/badwagon/Brighton/Brighton104.jpg

Plumbing and wiring in the engine bay finished up. Its a tucked bay but since this car has everything in it the hoses got to go somewhere.

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x223/badwagon/Brighton/Brighton105.jpg

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x223/badwagon/Brighton/Brighton106.jpg

Finished wireing. All of the engine connections are right here.

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x223/badwagon/Brighton/Brighton107.jpg

Filled the tranny with fluid and it started to leak out of the CVs so had to order those. Waiting for a few parts to come in, ABS cylinder was bad so had to get another one, Clock spring was no good so ordered another as well. We are at the final stages alright. Everything takes forever, parts are missing or broke and the cars starts fighting you every step of the way... Never fails. So more updates soon.

Hey all good update time.

So back to flipping wiring and the first things was to finish up installing the ProDCCD. This is a universal unit to run the tranny DCCD independant from the stock harness. After a bit of work I figure out how to pull the wires from the pigtails so I pulled some from his stock GC cluster harness and pined them into the new WRX one. We I ended up with was a total integration of his DCCD using the OE switch and thumb wheel as well as full ingegration with the cluster.

Next up was something I have been wanting to try for a very long time. I never had the time or the extra throttle cable to do it but I can say now that I can shorten Throttle cables for reversed manifolds and replicate it for fiture projects. I think ots one of those little things that really goes a long way when doing a car like this or any other car that dosen't want to coil their long ass throttle cable in their engine bay.

Installed..

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x223/badwagon/Brighton/Brighton112.jpg

One of the last things left was to wrap and installed the Downpipe so the car could come off the jackstands for the last time. Got 50" of black wrap and a T3 sized turbo blanket from Prosport and they look great.

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x223/badwagon/Brighton/Brighton113.jpg

So thats it... All the Fabrication work is done, all the Wiring and crap is finished. She heads off to paint now and then to have the interior installed to cover up all my hard work.. lol Pushed her outside one last time before the tow truck comes to take her away. Looks pretty sweet.

Once its painted it will go to the owners shop to have the last parts installed and then its off to Dom for a tune but I will be there for that so pics of this project finished will be coming. Now its time to put a dent in the "ForeSTAR" project so I can finsh that off and get started on the "Subreal Atom" project... More updates in a week or so.

Yeah sorry things have been super busy. Car left to paint and I didn't see it again till it was as the car show so I grabed a couple pics Armin took of it. Its currently at Doms getting a new ECU installed and tuned so it will still be a couple weeks before I know final numbers and have it back to do a good photo shoot.

Hope these will hold you over untill then...
