Ralph Lauren's cars at the MFA in Boston.

Recommended Posts

I just went to the special show of some of Ralph Lauren's cars at the MFA in Boston. The cars were amazing. It was the first time that I had seen any of these cars in person. They all looked like they had just come from the showroom. If I had these kind of cars they would be driven.

Anyway, here are a bunch of pics:

I liked the 959 the most. It is such an awesome car (0-60 in 3.6 sec) and for a time was not legal in the US. The McLaren was amazing: 2250 lbs and 627 hp = speeding ticket in three seconds. It has three seats - the driver is in the center and a passenger on either side a bit behind. You can see this configuration in one of the pics.

The show is up until early July and is definately worth viewing.

Great shots of some great cars. Thanks for sharing!

The GTO is absolutely my favorite in your group above, even though the McLaren replaced the Diablo as my favorite exotic as a teen in the 90's.

As much as I love classic cars, and believe me, I do. The McLaren was just such a paradigm shift, and a shock to the senses, it is hands down, my favorite car ever.

Everything was done right, because it was right to do. Nothing was left to compromise.

The 959, and the Ferraris, and the bugatti are breathtaking. The best things in life may be free, but these are pretty darn good, and VERY expensive.
