dunit2350
I am in need of some new all season tires. I live in Seattle so It rains alot, but is decent weather a couple months out of the year, I also deal with some snow and ice during the winter. I am open to any price range (preferrably medium priced) and My wheels are 225/40/

krzyss
If the movies on the Internet with ice in Seattle are any close to reality you better stay home regardless of tires. Even if you have studded tires somebody else will be slipping and sliding your way. Bridgestone just come out with RE970, they should be decent. outahere
I can't think of too many 225/40-18 AS tires that will do well on ice and snow. In addition to those already listed, another tire to consider is the Nokian WR G2. It gives up some dry/wet performance in exchange for better winter performance. N.sane
Continental DWS +1. I live in Vancouver, BC which is pretty much the same weather as Seattle. These tires are great in the rain.
