Higuma
Fog Light: H11 3000k 35watts HID Kit Hi Beam: 9005 6000k 55watts HID Kit I installed hi-beam & fog light HID kits in my '13 LTW but removed them after about 48 hours - our housings simply don't adequately focus the beams ( hi & fog ) from HID bulbs and although the lights were EXTREMELY bright I thought that the amount of light that they SPRAYED around was being pretty inconsiderate to other drivers and the hi-beams just take too long to cycle up... Perhaps for those of you in the States that do a lot of long hi-way runs at night on empty highways HID hi-beams are useful - but here in Japan I usually only use my hi-beams for VERY short periods or to indicate I am passing... Instead I went with 11w LED bulbs ( 9005 / HB3 hi-beams & H16 fogs ) and am much more pleased - - lovely white light @ 6500k and - although not as bright as HIDs - the fogs are quite a bit kinder to oncoming drivers... Golden Rule........ just saying.....
GTEASER
^^^Thank you for having the sense to understand that the focal length of a reflector assembly versus a projector assembly is completely different for HID and halogen bulbs. Thus the light "spray". GTEASER's 2012 Legacy GT - Sold GTEASER's 2009 XTeaser - Sold GTEASER's 1992 Legacy SS - Sold

Brainchild Customs
@scooby, looks great! now you just need those brakes;) Do you have pics of the stainless charge pipe? Is this custom or can I buy it somewhere? I had been playing with the idea of having one made. Also interested in the tune, I made 260whp/315wtq with similar power mods - you got some crazy torque numbers! minuccims
@scooby - great pics. It must be great to have many GTs to meet up with. I rarely see other 5th gens. Also, save up for a clutch; the OEM can't hold the torque.
faded-a-fool
@scooby Is this the same Subaruclub in the link below? If so, any way to get my hands on Prodrive Japan Wheels? http://subaruclub.ph/forum/index.php?topic=14643.
scooby889
Super thanks bros for the comments...appreciated it very much @faded-a-fool, bro yes it's the same Subaru Club...internally speaking we have subgroups within the club such as LGT Crew, FXT's, BRZ's, XV's and Impreza's. We have local distributor here for Prodrives, company's name is EXCELLAR ENTERPRISE, INC. here is the website for EXCELLAR GROUP OF COMPANIES http://www.excellar-auto.com you can try to contact them so they can send it to you if possible. The owner is Jeff Tan. Good Luck bro! BTW, the best looking Prodrive set is the GC012.. @island born, thanks for the comment bud...acceleration with 406 ft lb feels like your back and head are being forcibly buried to the back and head rest!!! @minuccims, bro all Philippine LGT's are all A/T, so we are worried about our transmissions. We are just waiting for one to fail so he can buy a Manual Tranny from the the US then convert. Luckily, none so far...cross fingers.... @ Brain Child Customs, Bro here some pics of my charge pipe...the second is wrapped already with Eei Gold Thermal tape, BTW you have some wicked numbers for your Leggie... http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q634/scooby889/IMG00797-20120727-1141_zpsa387109d.jpg http://i1167.photobucket.com/albums/q634/scooby889/IMG01139-20121218-0917_zps577b9012.jpg Edited December 18, 2012 by scooby889

scooby889
@5THGEN 2.5i Thanks bud;) for the comment. Local Subaru Dealers here actually encourages owners to modify their cars and sometimes accepts warranty even you made already a modification, we have a saying here "A Subaru ain't a Subaru if it remains stock!", so you rarely see Subaru vehicles here remain stock. Here, I happy to say that one can sense a sort of camaraderie between Subaru owners, honking at one another just to say hi even though you don't know each other. And Yes, we only have the 5 speed Lineartronic CVT, we wished the 5 MT was offerred so we can maximize the engine potential but unfortunately it was't made available. Also, the 2.5 turbo GT was only trim offerred and fitted with built in Bilstein sport shocks. Subaru only opened shop locally here in the Philippines during the late 90's with the 3rd gen but it was only now that they were selling in good numbers with the 5th Gen that was made in Japan both BM9 sedan and BR9 wagon.
