  1. Spent Sunday taking pictures at a local Auto-X. Here is the SWP baby hard parked with a WRX
  2. Yeah the black editions have a "dry" carbon wing, skirts, and lip. Such a badass car.
  3. Quick shot from today.....need to get my new Adobe software installed and edit the rest
  4. If anyone lived close to Grimmspeed, I am sure they would be more then willing to test fit the part on a 5th gen Legacy. Grimmspeed 724 Harding St NE Minneapolis, MN 55413 (612) 379-0000
  5. I couldn't find the P/N on some of the better listed Cusco US suppliers. Let us know ho you make out, I'd be interested in this as well
  6. Your car looks mean as hell tearing up that winter course.
  7. No bronze spotted on said page of pics, just gold, gunmetal, polished, and black wheels
  8. Very nice, I like the shots. What are you shooing with?
  9. Yeah the STi TS spoiler is an OEM spoiler, OEM is intended to last the life of the vehicle, while aftermarket isn't held to the same standard.
  10. Most trunk lip spoilers are 3M or automotive adhesion glue....unless its oem, which it isn't. Safe bet no holes needed.
  11. Anyone running bronze wheels on their SWP 5th gen? Been looking around and have yet to stumble upon any...other then 4th gens.
  12. I ownws the same coilovers, but only put maybe 10-15K on them prior to selling my STi. For the price they are a functional purchase to lower your car, and add aggressive dampening. But I would expect paying for a "real" brand, and by real, I mean properly designed from the ground up, not reverse engineered, there is a much higher confidence in design/quality/function/reliability. That includes OEM designs, like STi variants that are properly setup for aggressive driving and 60K miles. If I was to go back & re-spend my $1k on the STi, I would have re-valved the stock STi struts & added STi lowering springs vs the coilover purchase for the same or less money.
  13. ^And by every way your not even considering reliability & quality?
  14. I wouldn't doubt that at all.....but you would think they would carry the same part number if so.
  15. Two reference threads on how to make the front STi strut mounts compatible for the 08+ WRX, 09+ Forester, and potentially our '10+ Legacy's. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2262817 http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f70/08-sti-struts-09-fxt-65674/ In short, adjust position of lower strut mounting hole (notch or weld & re-drill), and use washers or spacer/shim to take up difference in knuckle thickness.
  16. A mod should merge the new developments from the latest H&R Spring thread into this as well. 08+ WRX suspension working (using Legacy top hats in the front) 08+ STi suspension in theory should work (using Legacy top hats in the front & modifying the front struts mounting location as seen done by the 09+ Fozzy owners)
  17. For us '13 owners with Nav wanting to do the parking brake mod......not possible http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/104-gen-4-2010-present/49531-2013-navigation-hack-bad-news.html The new unit uses the speed sensor as it's safety. Here is a link for screen shots of the unit used in the outback & legacy from an aftermarket audio/security shop. http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/69-audio-video-security-navigation/51879-2013-outback-limited-navigation-fujitsu-ten-eclipise-unit-found-2.html#post499680
  18. Yeah I know, I love the '13 front. Just love a nice clean lip
