Since the sedan housing is aim at a 45 degree angle outwards, these are the best LED for the license plate area since the light output shine inward towards the license plate. A typical LED bulb installed in a Legacy sedan, the light output will shine away from the license plate. These are actually pictures from my Legacy! No BS! 100% Made in Japan for the License Plate Flank Bulb. Total 8 SMD LED @ 7000k, 4 on each side - $16 shipped within 48 states.
