iyamdman
I have been looking through out the web for the L7 graphic, or for that matter any L7 info or badge photo. Can't find anything. Anyone else have any luck?
OCDetails
I've been searching all morning. I always thought of myself as sort of a search guru, but I'm coming up with nothing on this one. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . OCDetails
That may indicate poor fuel consumption. Which would rule out the "pig" as well. You are right. Heaven forbid we give our 20mpg average cars a bad reputation for being gas hogs. lol _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . Xenonk
are you guys using http://www.google.co.jp ? Look up the old Subaru 1990s to 2001 GT-B Badges. Keefe Keefe
jj808
One of the emails i have w/ Ken about these items: -------------------------------------- Thank you for replying us. Here is answer for your question. Well, actually there is a couple of diffrent colors and shapes of BH/BE 'L7' badge here in Japan. And this is only for front grille. Not availalbe for rear here in Japan. If you did not know what shape and color of that attached parts number (93013AE020) is please confirm before order it. Then, after May.2001(BH/BE) all of Legacy has been changed to 'Subaru Star badge'(same as export model) So,of course all of BP/BL also have that Star badges only. Also (BH/BE)JDM and USDM might have diffrent badge base(front grille) So,in some cases need to small work for attach JDM 'L7' badge on USDM. iyamdman
Is the front smaller or bigger than the rear? Are the hole spacing different? Wonder if you can mount the front in the rear. Still have not found anything about it on the web.
grimbeaver
btw are the badge on the rear of the wagon the same as the one on the sedan?
Rimfaxe
OK, waiting on final price and fitment details. I'm planning on debadging and using the Subaru "AWD" badge as the only thing on the rear deck lid. Keep me posted on the price and timing. S4
Sorry for the delay folks. I talked to SpeedWerx yesterday and he said that he hasn't heard back from Japan because of "Golden Week". He expects to have prices for us sometime this week.

OCDetails
I was just searching for this thread so I could inquire for an update. I'm glad to hear something is still in the works. edit: Maybe if enough people are interested then we can have someone on the west coast receive them all at once and then distribute them to the rest of us to kind of save on shipping. I'll bet it would be cheaper to ship 50 badges all at once than one at a time. If nobody else volunteers then I'd be willing to do it. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . S4
Maybe something like this would finish the look: http://www.renickmotorsports.com/oscommerce/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/254_352_384/products_id/229 "B4? L7? What kind of funky Camry is that?!??!?"
OCDetails
Wow... I hadn't thought about that badge. I wonder what it would look like in place of the 2.5GT...? They'd really be confused on mine. "Boxer? B4? L7???? Is there a car under all that badging someplace????" _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . OCDetails
I'd do that if it wasn't a self adhesive badge. I'd worry that it would pop off or something. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . iyamdman
Well, I went out and messured the badges on my wagon. Front = 113 x 58mm Rear = 102 x 50mm Then I did a graphic work up, see below. I am looking into getting them made. Figure set-up costs and per piece cost might be such that for 50 badges it might be in the $30.00 per pair range. Will keep y'all posted on my progress. The image is 1/2 size. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y165/iyamdman/U7-L7-Badges-3b-js.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y165/iyamdman/U7-L7-Badges-3a-js.jpg

iyamdman
I have submitted the design to 2 companies that make badges for cars and other things.
OCDetails
Are they under the impression that its an original design? Most compainies I know won't reproduce trademarked designs. Put me down for a set if they make em. I don't care if they are copyrighted, but a lot of times places who take the liability in reproducing stuff do care. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . iyamdman
Normally it is not a problem if you specify that it is a prototype run - needed for trademark and licensing approval submission - which I will do.
