Rattsl
Satin white pearl right? I think pretty good. Sadly, the bronze would look better on your white, and bronze is available in the 9" option only.
Eric Alvarez
Satin white pearl right? I think pretty good. Sadly, the bronze would look better on your white, and bronze is available in the 9" option only. I ran my stock's gold for a while and kind of miss it.. The other problem I am running into is current set up is on 225/40/18 so anything in the 9's will start stretching the tire. Which I don't mind, but do not want to go to extreme since I have experienced first hand what really stretched tires on awesome DC and Virgina roads with pot holes can do.... I am also considering Enkei RS05RR or the RSM9. I am not sure to go back to concave, stay with deep dish style, or get a combo of both and go with something like the Emotion X9R's or 11R. TakmaN
I have some Gram Lights 57DRs incoming in Gun Blue, 18x8.5 +38. Need to buy some 225/40 tires since my 245/40 right now will most likely rub. Rear and front fenders already rolled in anticipation of these bad boys! SBT
Should look great. What are you using for rear camber adjustment? - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
TakmaN
Should look great. What are you using for rear camber adjustment? Thanks! Hoping I don't need them actually, I'm more worried about the fronts. I have WedsSport SA70s in 18x8 +42 right now and the fronts sit really nice but the rears have room for at least another +5mm or so and that's with fatter 245/40 tires. Both sets of my fenders are rolled flat and slightly flared and I have my fender liners shaved. I'm also not planning to go super low (maybe a couple fingers width of gap between fender and tire). jernest1
Using these 2 months of the year for the occasional snow and ice or trip to the TN/NC mountains. Lots of 17" wheels won't fit the GT brakes, but I finally found a good set. Bridgestone Blizzak 205/50/17 and 17x7.5 Kazera KZ-Z matte black. rchayes21
Hey guys, I just sold my old wheels, and I'm going to purchase new ones in a couple weeks. My favorite is the Enkei Kojin 18x9.5 + 45 (shown below) 225/40/18 So this will definitely be an aggressive upgrade. I spoke with Nic Fisher (who owned the black LGT below) he said he also had 5 mm spacers all around so his offset was actually +40., also rolled and a slight pull. He said he didn't recall clearing the strut bar to be an issue. What do you guys think? And do you guys know anyone with that exact fitment specs amd if they ever had trouble with it ? Thanks guys http://i1251.photobucket.com/albums/hh546/rchayes21/imagejpg2_zps32251429.jpg http://i1251.photobucket.com/albums/hh546/rchayes21/imagejpg1_zps44162d09.jpghttp://i1251.photobucket.com/albums/hh546/rchayes21/imagejpg3_zps0fd7f4c2.jpg And here is my car. Rattsl
Ok, I'm going to browse your IG. I'm interested in that size. I've also been eying 18x8.5 +40, and 18x9 +38 or +40.
Drift Motion
18x9.5 +40 would be REALLY close to the coils...and depends on what coil you have, it might not clear.
rchayes21
18x9.5 +40 would be REALLY close to the coils...and depends on what coil you have, it might not clear. You're right, it MIGHT not fit. It's definitely a gamble and risk. However the more homework I've done on this fitment, I'm seeing that more and more are getting by with a +40 offset. I asked Nic Fisher and he said he had no problems. "And I asked Hangar" because he ran a Enkei 18x9.5 + 40 with his old LGT. And said it was close but it was ok. He also ran a 235/40. Instead of my 225/40. So. I'm just leaning more towards risking it. I'm running tein street basic coilovers. What do think Drift? Too close to call?
