It doesn't get more scientific or credible than that.

Um thanx??

I'll stick with synthetic just the same. It hasn't let me down in over 20 years.

And seeing that my rotary engined RX-7 never blew up despite driving it for 10 years and all the cries of fear and gnashing of teeth from the RX-7 forums. ;)

Scientific credible source please.

I was going to say "My previous service manager when my shortblock went at 57k".

Then I realized that was niether scientific nor credible.

No, the name has nothing to do with bragging about 20 inch wheels...

I figure that I might weigh-in on the topic. The turbo was replaced right before I bought it, btw. I've only owned the car for a month but I've had a hell of an experience. 2 days after I bring the car home from the used car dealership (a branch of a large dealer) the oil light came on and the engine started a tick that was out of the ordinary.

I parked the car, had the dealer send out a flatbed, and they took a look. They apparently found bits of junk in the oil and could not figure out why. They decided to pull the engine and find another used one somewhere. They could not. They then sent the motor out to a performance/machine shop to do a complete rebuild of the engine.

It's been so long since I have seen the car I don't even remember what it looks like. :spin::eek:
