1055
Nice, can't wait to see what crazy sh** you do to this one.. Nothing! (Hopefully..) with the legacy getting a v8 and rwd.. this will remain my unmolested daily. IMO, its the perfect daily/winter/everything vehicle. I also paid a premium for such a clean one, and its 5 speed.. but since I plan on keeping it forever I'm ok with that. Took me two years to find one worth buying. In all honesty ill probably just do UEL headers and an STi axle back. Rumble and done
pleaidestar
Inserted "hopefully" sounds suspicious of your intentions sir. You got the bug in you already...we will see how long you can hold out.
patrikman
I'm sorry but, what? Lol Are you running adapters? If not and you bought those used, they are Audi RS4 replica wheels built for the Audi TT. TT=5x100mm, all other Audis =5x112mm. Sorry for the confusion. Grimmrican
Ooooohhhhh lol thanx for telling me that I been trying to figure it out. No adapters. They're 225/40/18x8 offset?? Added a oem spoiler to my car today. Original color http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/07/u4eretub.jpg After completion http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/07/yherygub.jpg Also adding the roof spoiler with matching color http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/07/ese2ydes.jpg Some extra pics while paint dried http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/07/evyqaquv.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/07/e6emyqum.jpg Edit: I did some quick research with the rs4 replicas and for my size rim it's either et35 or 45. I'll have to see on my rim what it says next time I take them off. Edited November 7, 2013 by Grimmrican

1055
^sbc? Yessir.. 3970014 2 bolt main block. 462 1.96 double hump heads. Stripped it down last night. Edelbrock IM, headers and carb TBD. Had an edelbrock .400/.442 278/288 cam with solid lifters and crane rockers. Will probably get a little more of an aggressive cam and some 10.5:1 pistons. Will probably run an MSD dizzy. Need to figure out: Headers High torque starter Carb Front sump oil pan Should put it in the 375-400hp range.

TexasLegacy2.5GT
Grimmican, did the 3rd gen Legacy retain the 60/40 folding rear seats for the cargo space? Also, do you ever think its possible to use a wagon's rear leather seats on a sedan? On the sunroof on the sedan does it both slight back as well as tilt? May I see pic on controls on that. The L. L. Bean only has one control for the dual sun roofs and I want to check out if its a match for my other BD's sunroof. Dodik
3rd gen sedans don't have 60/40 split unfortunately only armrest pass through. Pretty sure all single sunroof models have tilt/slide as far as rear wagon seats on the sedan the JDM ones fit but there are some gaps not sure if it can be fixed with wagon interior trim. now will they fit into second gen is a good question

LL bean only has one function because there is no where for the front sunroof to go back due to the rear one. As far as the seat goes, no. Only a passthrough. I can't talk about the SUS though since I have no idea. The seat mounts for wagon and sedan are totally different.

pleaidestar
http://www.sandersonheaders.com/Chevrolet-Small-Block-V8-Headers/ Got some experience with these, very high quality..bought a set for my wifes 67 bel-air wagon (327).pricey but Damn they sound throaty. Pacesetter is a good cheaper alternative as well. Have you started a new build thread for it? Edited November 9, 2013 by pleaidestar
1055
I'm continuing this progression in my current build thread for the car. Also, I May need to use some rear exit shorty headers because of the clearance issues
