the 3rd Gen pic thread...

Why don't you read the build thread then you wouldn't lol Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk -
I hear that man. Just do what you can and if you can only do upkeep and maintenance then fine. Its more respectable to have a car that has great maintenance history and is clean and bone stock than a shitbox with fancy trinkets. Just because its not modded doesn't mean you aren't an enthusiast! Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

The thing is, a lot of us here are in the US and that engine option wasn't an option. So the information from the guys on here may be limited. There are some guys who aren't stateside and have had an RS or GTB and may shed better light on this. May I recommend maybe go to a subaru dealer in the area And have them cross reference ECU codes and see if they can pull more info.. Only guys on here that have the twin turbo 2 liter have swapped then and chances are they run aftermarket/standalone ECUs. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

Between the wrecked wrx and legacy you should have anything. Basically, once you but in the ej20 you'll use the intake manifold to ECU module harness and then just merge it to the legacy for electronics etc. Mind you, it needs to be the same harness and ECU that is exactly the same as the WRX your engine came from Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

Wrecked wrx would be optimal if you wanted to just run it normally, And you'd have to merge the harnesses. If you want give yourself a challenge you can buy a Megasquirt standalone ECU and basically run your car however you'd like. The 2nd option would require tuning tho.
