My next event there is with the CECA (Colorado Exotic Car Club). They are a pretty odd group and pretty closed about who they let run with them (I'm not even sure I'm in yet). I do know some people that know people to get me in.

And I think that'll be my last event there this season sadly...

What about the Porsche club looks like they are running again? Are you planning on going to any open lap days?

Bill Miller is the CECA rep to MCCA. I'm sure you won't have any problem running with that group. They have a few real cobras, ferraries and other cars like that running with them. Bill runs a hertz mustang and is a good guy. His contact info is on the HPR contact page.

I would say you could use my name, but then he'll say Darrel who? j/k I think.

CECA always has the last satuday of september as a traditional date for their bbq/picnic. I don't think they will limit the participation to only their group. Like other clubs they are welcoming non members with the increase prices and demands of the track.

Just leave a message and Bill will get back to you.

The audi group will have the track oct 9 and 10.

You will have to check on their rates. It will be run like a school.

I'm pretty sure the track won't close for good during the winter. Weather permitting and with enough interest I'm sure they will have some open lapping days during the weekend.

You can chgeck the events schedule to sdee who has the track. There should be contact info on the event schedule.

^^ Haha!

Those are some good pictures though. Hopefully I can get my swap done sooner rather than later and join the next track day. Looks like a blast.

Sweet Enthusiast (and thanks!) - I'll look forward to seeing you out there.

Hell maybe we should figure out a "Subie Day" and get the WRX/STi guys out there too! It'd be fun to spank them in my Leggy!

Well it is funny you say that. Flatirons is having a subie day at HPR on November 7th. You could drive in the "aggressive" class. Sounds ominous but it is not. I drove in that class and had a blast!

Here is the thread on AWD Pirates. If you are not a member here is the link to the signup at Flatirons.

Hrm. This could be very interesting. My swap may very well be finished by then. I'd be more than willing to do a Subie day at Flatirons...
