I recently installed a set of tein s-techs.. the ride is pretty harsh but i can deal with it.. it was never a problem until i recently switched to 18x7.5's.. the rears tend to rub a little bit when i sag from a dip in the road.. whats the best fix for this?

adjust camber?

also has anyone ever really bent up there fender from rubbing too hard?

I have saggy butt spacers to raise the rear up a bit on my LGT with 18x8 wheels + Stechs. Still cant clear tires sized 235/40/18s though. But im fine with 225/40/18

What's the offset on your wheels?

i'm 90% sure it's +40

i'm thinking negative camber would be the best solution..

is this a good idea on stock struts?

i'm a little hesitant to roll the fenders, but i will if it saves money..

1.Tein H Tech Lowering Springs (front and rear)

2. Koni Yellow Sport Adjustable (front and rear)

3. Perrin 22mm Sway Bars (front and rear)

4. Perrin End Links (front and rear)

5. Prodrive GT1 18x7.5 (53mm OS) 19.0lbs

6. Goodyear Eagle GT 225x40ZR18 UHP AS

Drives firm, precise, and glues to the tarmac. Very enjoyable. Worth every dollar.

Not to ask a dumb question, but are the pics with the stock wheels pre-upgrade on the springs?

Have the same Perrins, was considering going with same strut spring combo. How's the ride quality - I live in Boston area, roads not great. Sticking with stock wheel size, running DWS conti's

Thanks!

Great thread, I also have a question though.

I recently picked up a set of LGT struts and springs with only 35k miles on them. Is it a bad idea to throw some Epic springs on them and install them like that?

I know it is ideal to change out the struts as well but I'm not extremely picky about suspension as long as it looks good and isn't a harsh ride.

Rides like stock and a little harsher on speed bumps and such. But not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Maybe because I'm used to lowered cars.

same setup as ej25 with same reviews. i am used to lowered cars i guess. the ride with my new s-techs with newer kybs in the front and bilsteins in the rear is firmer but i'd not say they suck. very happy. i don't have before pictures though. stock size tires. no rubbing, pulling or rolling. whiteline bushings all around.
