Appearance wise it's close to perfect imo - 1 1/2 finger gap in the front and 2 in the back for an aggressive raked stance. Stock shocks are taking a beating but I went in knowing I'd be replacing them with coilovers in a year, so no surprises there. Ride is actually much less harsh then I thought it would be. From Rallitek site, I noticed there are three different endlinks (50mm, 70mm and front sway bar endlink). Which ones did you get? How do you like the ride so far? I'm planning of getting - Rallitek Springs (with stock struts) - Rallitek Front / Rear Sway bars - AVO endlinks - (not sure) Cusco Strut Braces Front/Rear and with stock wheels and rims The only difference is that I have a 2005 2.5i
N.sane
^I would suggest getting the Rallitek HD end links, front and rear are available if you look under the GT section, but it's the same stuff, doesnt seem like they updated the 2.5i page. Save your money from the strut braces, unless you want the bling, you wont feel much from them.

Thanks for the tips I didn't know Rallitek HD end links works on 2.5i (that is $20 in saving ) I wasn't sure about strut braces, since I don't do any serious track runs, that save me another $300. Now i just need to find someone or some garage to install them for me.
N.sane
It's not just the savings, it's the way they're built. The AVO endlinks for some reason dont hold up well according to some consumer reviews, though I do love their products, I have their mufflers and air filter. The Rallitek HD is based off the OEM design but beefier, plus a 5 year warranty! Try the regional threads to see if someone if your area can do installs for you, there's some DIY guys around here.. There is a little more bounce in the springs, but you don't notice this as much. The other thing i like is that it is now lowered, but only about an inch in the front and rear. I didn't want a big drop so an inch is perfect

subaggie
I'm having trouble deciding between the Tein H-Techs and the Eibach Pro-kit springs. I want to get my stance down a little bit without having issues going up driveways and whatnot. Any input or opinions on both would be much appreciated. king_j
i had the h-techs and swapped them for the pro kit. the tiens seem to lower the front a bit more then the pro kit. the pro kit has a very even fender gap all around. driving wise, with the tiens i could tell the car was lowered with an aftermarket spring. with the pro kit, it felt more like a factory performance upgrade, this suited the car much better. the pro kit does not have a harsh ride, there really isnt any "bang/crash" over bumps. the tiens felt more harsh over bumps. the pro kit gives the car a good firm ride, not coilover quality, but great for the money. going up driveways and bumps is fine if you go at an angle, i have a front lip and have no problems. jojo2.5gt
So for an 07 spec I'm just wondering, can lowering springs that fit on a gt also fit on the Bilsteins too or is it any different??
scoobydoobie
So for an 07 spec I'm just wondering, can lowering springs that fit on a gt also fit on the Bilsteins too or is it any different?? Springs will interchange, but may have ride height differences due to the different top hats. With Bilsteins, you'll likely want to stick with Pinks, Swifts, or other JDM springs.
