hyteck9
I just learned that the 6-speed in the 2010 LGT, is NOT the 6-speed from the Sti. It's some crappy wanna-be from the Euro-deisel line that won't even handle 300hp. Can anyone confirm this?

praedet
No one knows how much it can handle... It is designed to handle more TORQUE (which is what breaks things) than the previous 5-speed since the diesel makes more tq than the LGT stock... D0WNxSH1FT
Since it can handle the diesel, I'm sure it can handle the LGT's 258 lbs. Will it take Stage 2 or more? We won't know till someone blows one up.
RJS5689
It's based off of the design of the 5-speed. We're not sure how much it can handle yet. What I can tell you is this. I sat in one the other day and the clutch is way too light and the shifter has a terrible light, imprecise feeling.
rao
I heard that the Legacy STI is going to get the real deal 6 speed, which is why I ordered an '11. Rob IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU SHOULD NEVER DRIVE IT
