2soon
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Cancel all that #266 is at home in SC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for the help Hello All! Well long story short I am stuck between the two and now it's time to make a decision. Here are the cars. 06 GT - 5spd - 26,000miles - $16991 and the other choice is this SPEC-B - 30,000 miles - $17,500 http://i726.photobucket.com/albums/ww265/6hokage99/Legacyside.jpg http://i726.photobucket.com/albums/ww265/6hokage99/Legacy.jpg http://i726.photobucket.com/albums/ww265/6hokage99/LegacyInt2.jpg Please help. I know it doesnt have the 6sd and all, but is the handling really all that much better? Previous owner of #266 if your out there please chime in too? Thanks
rtbrjason
I had a similar choice though I was looking at new. It was between an 08 5spd LGT and an 08 specb. I ultimately got the specb though they had already ordered me the lgt. The price difference was much larger and I still went for the specb. With the cars above, the milage difference is almost nothing, and the price is almost the same. I would 100% take the spec b for the extra $500 or so. Worth it for the nav alone, but you also get the suspension, aluminum components, better wheels/tires and some other upgrades.
Jordan
Depends if you want ejection seats and rocket boosters or not. But really its kinda a no brainer get the f-ing spec b. and join the brotherhood of the 06 YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. And you will never get tired of telling people how you are 1 of 500 and showing them the placard next to the shifter. In contrast I got mine with 23k miles for 21,900. Trust me dont f around get the spec b. And once you throw some springs on those bilsteins yes the handling is that much better.

Gire
The 06 SpecB's had special engines, it is a known rumour on this forum. Good choice.

2soon
THANK YOU ALL!! I am proud to be apart of this family. I had never owned a Subaru before this (chevy guy), but man I didn't realize what I had been missing all this time. The clutch may take some getting used to. Its been years. Please don't tell me anything about a special engine or it can never leave the garage. I am scared to sit on the leather now! Yes it was the one in NC.
