  1. Thanks for the responses. It's not that kind of road. I can't afford a truck right now. I take my Subaru every where. I like to camp. It's just a gravel roads. If feel better with some better tires. Most or the time I'll turn around if the road is not safe. I really want to get the outback that looks like the legacy. Maybe one day.
  2. Yep stock brakes and rins. Which tire size would you run for the 17's? I just want to use some good year wrangler or similar 10 ply tire if I can. I looked at the calculator. 215/50/17 is the closest in size to stock it says. That looks like a hard tire to find for offroad though..
  3. I have a 06 spec B and im looking to see what size rim they are running. I want to go off road. Not rally but just explore off road. i see i need 5x100. any one know what mm i need?
  4. On the outside is all the pb blaster I had to use. Inside I have no idea. I check the oil regular it’s usually down, but I thought it was normal in these cars. I can’t tell if it smokes. It’s been in the 20s for a few months. When it warms up I’ll follow it down the road.
  5. So that bushing will be off center? What does the car do when it’s off center? Gonna look up the TGV gaskets also. Hope they are easy to change....
  6. Thanks for the responses. Thank you for the compliment also . I love my legacy!!! Some of the fans looked chipped on the top side and after reading about all the horror stories it had me worried. I will check the banjo filter and make sure it’s clean . Clean the inter cooler out and batten it all back up. Anything else I should check? I’ve already replaced my PCV valve and new O2 sensors already.
  7. I didn't notice any play at all. Just alot of caked up oil around the front side of the turbo. Intercooler looked pretty clean inside. No pools of oil in the hose.
  8. I recently hit 205k on my 06 legacy gt. So far only had to replace valve covers. I pulled the exhaust off to take a look at the turbo. How do the blades look to y'all? I didn't notice and play in it. The blades look like they are starting to chip.
