theflystyle
that shop looks good... but it seems out of place with that grill or is it just me? i am having a hard time deciding on which way to go
vitaliy_08
I guess it kinda does look out of place.. A few members on here have commented whether i will do something about my grill... but a few friends of mine (non-subaru owners) said i should not do anything to it (like change the mesh or black out the grill) So i haven't done anything about my grill... Meshanks07
With your color, flystyle, I would def just clear them because I agree the grill looks out of place.

dspecbl
I decided not to clear mine as I like the orange reflector when not in front of chrome. So I just went all black.... Yayo
you're right, apparently my work randomly blocks some images. I can see them on my phone... looks good. Matches nicely w/ your black grill and fog surrounds.

vitaliy_08
how did everyone remove the wires? did you cut them? Cant seem to get mine to come out through the grommet No no no... Don't cut anything... You have to push the wire into the headlight then bring it out through the larger hole where the H7 light bulb goes... I don't remember without looking at all of it again but i think that's how it was... You have to squeeze you're fingers inside to get a hold of it and bring it through the other hole
PreciousMetalNJ
I'm sorry to stray away from the topic of this thread, but I need to know what the part number is for the plastic piece laying on the cardboard that attaches to the bottom of the headlight for the passenger side. The piece in question is in the very first pic. Thanks for all your help and looks great OP.
vitaliy_08
I have no clue what the part number is... I know its some kind of corner support for the headlight assembly...
LJ08GT
i am planning on atleast clearing my headlights this spring. I am 08 OBP. I hope to eventually get bronze colored wheels for my car so i was thinking clear the corner paint the housings black and maybe paint the projector rings bronze to tie in with the wheels. Any thoughts or suggestions? Should i just paint and leave the chrome ring? I also plan on a CF grille and front lip if i can find a cheap one. w00tspec
Looks good Blind Dude, I'm glad the write-up helped... You should look into blacking out your headlights... it will look really good with your car color. Here's some of my pics http://i978.photobucket.com/albums/ae267/vbejan/My%20Legacy/Blacked-out%20headlights/P1070893.jpg http://i978.photobucket.com/albums/ae267/vbejan/Rota%20Gravel/DSCF4476.jpg Old bump is old, but thank you for posting this. Currently in the midst of a MDX retrofit and needed to see blacked out with amber removed. The empty plastic piece in the corner is still kind of bugging me, but I'll live with it I think.
