silver legacy
I am looking for some kind of mat for the trunk. The factory carpet is tough to vaccum since everything seems to stick to it. Any suggestions?
NutBucket
For a sedan, the correct part can be ordered from japanparts.com I don't know of any aftermarket one that is specifically made for the sedan. If you have a wagon, then head to the dealer.
TRS
They sell the trunk mats in Europe and Japan, but not N. America. You can order from overseas but shipping is at least as expensive at the mat itself so it pushes the shipped cost well over $200USD. Weathertech (mats.com) told me 2 1/2 years ago they were going to come out with sedan cargo liner still haven't. I've had the one I show in this post for a while now and am still very happy with it. max_bobby
Hey, Auto Anything has a trunk mat made by Hexomat for about 100 dollars Link http://www.autoanything.com/floor-mats/75A2570A0A0.aspx Hope this helps.
idontknow
I bought the mat for the wagon and trimmed it with some scissors. It's not an exact fit, but the local dealership only charged me $70 bucks for it and it protects the carpet when I haul the trash off to the dump. Whatisit
i went to the stealership and tried the legacy wagon mat, Imprezza mat, and the forester mat. i went with the forester mat (the last generation one). the forester one is slightly shorter, and has "forester" stamped onto it. but other then that it does the job pritty well. Mr. Sinister
Huh? I didn't pay $200 for my trunk mat. Shipping is about $40 or so as I recall. I saw some old posts that would've put the mat around $150-$160 shipped and when I contacted Japanparts about it, they said no way it would've been that cheap. Using their site, the shipping cost alone is $282 dollars, making the total cost for the mat $413 shipped.
