I like the red too (nice to see fresh here) and I also have been looking at the 05 MT's quite religiously...My preference tends toward ABP (131 of those)

with white being the rarest 5MT color iRRC?

I also (like you perhaps?) like the GT non-limited for it's cloth interior, yet the lack of sunroof is a real loss, esp. here in CA. Contrary to popular opinion the ABP cars had blue closth seat (ouside) trim and carpet (not black) like the rest. Is there another reason you prefer the non-limited model? (sturctural integrity perhaps?) i.e. lack of that big hole in the roof? :D

Do take care of the paint too (crappy quality paint as they are-4th generation, all colors) as the red fades to orange especially quickly,

almost as you watch it!

:D

Cheers and congratulations on a very fine purchase and a great achievement... getting it home, way back then!

Yeah, the white manual limited wagon is the rarest... 48 made, I think?

Wanted the non-limited to save on the weight of the sunroof and leather. It's mainly a track car... My wife has her turbo Baja with leather and sunroof as a daily, so she doesn't miss it.

Non-limited wagons (and sedans) are far rarer than the so called limited models...

(I liken that misnomer to a Japanese to English mis-translation of the word 'Wimited'... ? :D

...also given the poor English translation for the glovebox manual, that we all suffer to partially understand?)

IIRC it also depends on the interior color chosen but white w/taupe (or black) 2005 MT GT's are both in very limited supply these days..shall we say?

I've parsed the VIN tables and have done a bit of homework...Let's see....

Looks like cousins of your red MT were far and few between at only 77 produced in total (both taupe and black)

I did find this one recently. (113k miles)

Cross county buying of high-mileage cars long distance seems a bit crazy!

But of this I'm sure you're already aware, given this thread! :D

Cheers!

Yeah the black interior was the rarest... Friend of mine just brought one here from the East Coast and the motor had been severely damaged. He didn't inspect it before he bought it! Had to have a new motor put in. I checked mine out thoroughly before we bought it, though.

I am still looking for the right one here (due dilligence and all) ... a GT that may very well never come, I'm afraid as it's likely in the bone yard (at 133 produced)

but not nearly as rare as yours at 44 produced...with the black interior.

ABP MT (preferably without a branded title) if you happen to see one, let it go and then persuade it to come this way?

Cheers! :D

Hey Ran, I've been looking for this table on the forum for weeks now. Do you know where the Limited produced numbers table is?

Do you know where the Limited produced numbers table is?

A few weeks ago I derived the above table from the list (that Chizad has kindly linked here) for the MT unlimited cars only and haven't done this for the limited examples.

Give it a go?

ohh, I'm planing on it!

I put overlays over the back up lights and was thinking of de-badging. Might also paint the lower rear bumper flat black ala sedans.

Well, rear Brembos are on and I debadged (even the Vt decal) yesterday. Ordering the Di-Noc Vinyl to cover the chrome strip. Wonder where Spartan got the 3rd brake light overlay.

Still loving my wagon. Have the sti uppipe in the garage and an ERZ catted downpipe on the way.

Tinted windows is the only outside mod I have done so far. Looks much better and I regret waiting a month to do it. Still looking for some darker rims.
