westy66
i saw a LGT wagon last week while waiting at a Firestone getting my snow tires installed. it had a front red BBK with slotted rotors under the stock wheels. i tried going outside to stop him, but he got away. any idea what it could be? camber
Red BBK?? AP, Stoptech(IIRC with 5 mm Spacers on front. WRX kit will fit without spacers), Rotora kit
camber
IIRC Racing Brake has a kit as well that fits under stockers and is red. I think Wilbrod has calipers that will fit under stock wheels but aren't red.

LittleBlueGT
Does AP have 330 mm BBK w/ 6 pistons? There is a lot of clearance there with the AP BBK. camber
No... They have new kit for '08+ impreza/WRX/STI that is 355mm for the fronts. They fit under the stock 08+ STI wheels. From CL to edge of caliper is 7.97" compared to LGT 4 piston kit which is 7.31". Although, about .4" inch taller from tophat to face of the caliper. LittleBlueGT
Looks like even AP's 6 piston kit might fit under the stockers... You think AP 6 pots would fit under 17s? camber
You think AP 6 pots would fit under 17s? Hmm... subtle humour thing doesn't come well through the interweb... I was just trying to point out that there was alot of room between the stock wheel and AP 4 piston BBK. Dimensionally wise, the 6 pot kit isn't that much bigger, as you would expect/think. camber
Think those APs will fit under the stock Outback 17" wheels? One way to be sure... http://www.brake-pros.com/product_files/AP3100~profile.pdf Print that out, cut it out and sweep around your wheel. Make sure the 1" X 1" box is to scale, resize to get appropriate scale.

I kinda thought it was humor, but wasn't sure. I really don't think the 6-pots would fit. Full tune of 68HTA, KSTech 73 MAF, Racer X FMIC and ID1000s................by the DataLog Mafia!!! hotrodwagon
Westy66, that was probably me you saw. And the answer is... Racing Brake. They're 4-pot, 316mm, and available with both 1 or 2-piece rotors. I actually wanted black calipers, but all they had was red at the time.
