Instanced Posted October 24, 2008 Share Posted October 24, 2008 It's definitely a sight to see... there are so many pumpkins... all carved differently... and there are some rediculious ones... however the best time to look at them is when it's dark... and when it's FREEZING outside... but they have hot apple cider, fried dough, etc etc etc vendors lined down the entire main st. (pretty cheap from what I can remember)... also a lot of resturants to eat at... but goodluck there... it is crowded only at certain times and certain locations... like when they announce the amount of pumpkins, you can barely move near the round-a-bout... but its not to too bad up main st. a bit. also Jumangi (Spell?) was filmed there so if you wanted to go earlier in the day you could see the church and the Parrish Shoe sign thats painted on the brick wall... it's pretty neat... there are definitely other things to do in/around keene so it's not like you'd be bored to death. I plan on going Saturday Night i think... there's lots of live bands playing all day and into the evening... there are multiple pyramids/towers of pumpkins, but the biggest is in front of the roundabout.... there's HUGE pumpkins, and tiny pumpkins... its awesome. I recommend going... walk'n around with the girl... holding hands and look'n at neat pumpkins... yaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... girls love it *wink* Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
