There is no bloody way I am sleeping on a couch when there's a good spot on a bed waiting for me. If anything, she should sleep on the couch because you need a comfortable place in which to gather your thoughts and ponder hers. This is the only way you can arrive at a suitable resolution. While you're at it, let her know that buying you a nice present will also help a great deal towards bringing the situation to a quick resolution.
