Undecided about Rims?

I have been looking at two sets of rims for my SWP and I am not sure which one will look better. I have seen black on the car but I couldn't find gunmetal on any SWP cars. The two rims I am looking at are below the Enkei FD-05 and MB Wheels Weapons. If any body has either of the rims and any impressions please post. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Mike

check out http://subydude.com or http://www.subydude.com/osc/index.php/cPath/220_21_158?osCsid=0d95b52bcd2ae0caca34b847b983e6d0 for the suby section.

Generally in the $200 range or more depending on style. If you curb a wheel, so what! Priceless... I have the SVN's and I would suggest staying away from that wheel. They are too wide and I'm rubbing on stock suspension with 235/40/18.

Well I did some searching and found some pics, but now I have questions about the black. I have a stock suspension setup and I am looking at getting a 17" rim. Question is will the black rim show too much of a gap between the tire and the wheel well or will the machined lip break it up. If so would just a solid grey color look better. Thanks Mike

Can anybody photoshop a Gunmetal Grid onto a SWP Legacy, if I had the program I would do it myself. If somebody has a picture of any gunmetal rim on a SWP that would also work. I searched and did not find anything. Thanks Mike

Mike,

Mine are not a dark gunmetal like the link you posted above, but they're a dark silver and are close. A few days of brake dust makes them look like gunmetal, though! The wheel size is 17x8, with **edit 225/45R17 RE960AS. Stock suspension; they fill the gap well, but I've since switched to 245/40R17 Falken 452s that are more meaty. Here they are clean, hope it helps:

Well after reading many pages and looking at many pictures I have finally decided. I went with the Rota G-Force's in Gunmetal. I will post pictures when I put them on the car.

-Ok what's the trick to getting a picture in, I keep on going to manage attachments but it will not upload the image?

I finally took a couple of pictures of the new rims on a dirty car. Rims are Rota G-Force's 17x7.5 in gunmetal. Pretty happy the way they look on the car, just need to lower the suspension now. Mike
