Hi, I am new to this site and I own a 2007 Subaru Outback 3.0R (euro spec) in Taiwan. The car is a euro-spec and is manufactured in Japan so some minor details of my car differ from North American Spec cars (HID, headlight washers, grille, roof racks, rear bumpers etc.)

BTW: A Subaru Outback in Taiwan retails for $1.78 Million NT dollars or around $60K USD. OUCH !!!!!

I would like to share some pictures with everyone here.

I rented a in door parking space and I almost never park my car on the side of road and I only drive it once a week or so. I ride bicycle to work until I got hit by a car while riding to work so I am typing this message with 3 broken bones, 6 titanium screws and a titanium plate in my left arm.

But my car still received a couple paint damages from careless drivers who tried to drive around me so I had to took my car back to the dealer for new rear bumper paint job.

My arm's current state after sugery, my bike fixed after spending around $600 USD for repairs.

I was hit by a Ford Modeo driver who ran a red light right in front of Taipei 101 the world's tallest building with a traffic cop standing 50 feet away.

You live in a BEAUTIFUL country, wow, talk about scenery!

Rocky coast line and rain forest of a Pacific tropical island offer a distinctive scenery when compared to the North American or European continental scenes which I also loved when I lived there.

Where are the headlight washers located? are they intragraded into the headlight?

Take a closer look at the headlight's inner edge near the grille.

You will see two chromed doors which pops up and washes the headlights when you activate the windshield mist function with headlight on.

The house was a private B&B which we spend a weekend at in the moutains far from the city. In Taiwan no body can afford a "house" like that in the urban area and there is none available. Everyone lives in an apartment-type place with very small living space.

That "thing" under the TV is a refrigerator

Are the wing mirrors on that power folding at the touch of a button?

I am smelling an EDM conversion over here

yea, its power folding mirror, but the switch is located next to the VDC switch which I think is less than convenient IMO

nice outback, and seeing those pics makes me want to go back to visit taiwan.... haven't been there since i immigrated to the US back in 1990.

I moved to Cali back in 1990, attended Wilson High School and Mt. SAC before immigrating to Canada in 1997. I lived in Walnut BTW.
