rao Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 It is good to keep changing your marketing every month Rob IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU SHOULD NEVER DRIVE IT
IwannaSportSedan Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I do like the new "Subaru Heaven" spot that I have seen. But I have to agree. It is disappointing that the Legacy continues to be in the back corner, in the dark.
rshalvoy Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Funny...I was about to post this. Did the last sentence piss anyone else off, or was it just me?
Guest heightsgtltd Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Too bad Subaru doesn't use my company, this is an inherently flawed campaign
47ka Posted April 27, 2008 Author Posted April 27, 2008 Funny...I was about to post this. Did the last sentence piss anyone else off, or was it just me? Yup, which was why I put in the comment about my 1990 Legacy wagon. Too bad Subaru doesn't use my company, this is an inherently flawed campaign Apart from the lack of Legacy, how so? I don't have any marketing background.
lawl Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 subaru ads apart from the rally one are just missing testosterone. plain and simple. car for sale. PM me!
jagcars26 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 subaru ads apart from the rally one are just missing testosterone. plain and simple. Well put!
rouar Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I like the campaign but those advertisements are full of fail. Subaru Heaven - sounds like a great ad, but Foresters were made starting 1998. You mean to say that a 10-year-old Subaru is so worn out that it is destined for nothing more than the junkyard? I would have put a Loyale or Brat in the spot. Priorities - great ad but the car is merely a transportation device here. Not For Sale - plausible but reaching. Not a real-life situation. Wash Me - anybody who "loves" their Subaru will keep it clean to prevent rust so they can enjoy it for years. The Fly Out - sounds depressing, really. Parking Meter - feeding meters is illegal (at least around here)
SLegacy99 Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 I do like the new "Subaru Heaven" spot that I have seen. I was like, its still running. What are you doing abandoning it?
LegGTLT Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Too bad Subaru doesn't use my company, this is an inherently flawed campaign More info please! I'm from a marketing background as well but I haven't seen any of the ads except for the linked heaven one. I have no opinion on it yet excpet for what rao said. Changed again??? My god... so what makes you think it will fail besides that they change it every 2 months? I'm just curious! Please PM joeleodee For All Site Questions. He is the acting Admin and can resolve anything related to LegacyGT.com

DukeTrout Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Yeah, haven't they heard of the 24 hours of lemons? Ich bin echt viel netter, wenn ich nuechtern bin. Echt!

They need to pay me for that, and I don't come cheap
IwannaSportSedan Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Yeah, haven't they heard of the 24 hours of lemons? That would be a good use of an old Subaru. Build like a tank, them... And BTW, FANTASTIC avatar, there, Duke. Props from another browncoat. Big Damn Heros... Aren't They Just.
SLegacy99 Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Yeah, haven't they heard of the 24 hours of lemons? There are some guys at Penn State that just got a 733i for that. My old roomate had one of them.....they is fast!
rjundi Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 The new ads worked for my mum. She is a two time buyer of Subaru who currently has a 9 year old Forester. She has the itch to move on and said she would take a look at new Forester. She remembered the ad(campaign) to tell me about it.

rao Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 And she hasn't bought one, she is thinking about buying one, there is a subtle difference to Subaru's bottom line there Rob IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU SHOULD NEVER DRIVE IT
Viber Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 The Forester is selling thus far so the ad campaign must be working with some When I got my oil changed on saturday there were 3 lined up with temp plates waiting to be picked up.
Guest heightsgtltd Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Just saw the heaven one... creepy, bizarre and wrong in so many ways
