Other than it being hand numbing cold, it was a pretty decent turnout for the weather. Maybe next week will be better. Stopped by that V Dub meet also, frowned, and left. Oh, this is the guy who tried showing off for us and instead almost got beat down by the guy he almost hit in the parking lot. CTATV Posted April 7, 2008 Share Posted April 7, 2008 i plan to be there unless i get wrapped up in clearing my headlights or my service isnt done. getting new tires tomarrow, 30k mile service wednesday, dad is bringing my tools and my AVO filter on tuesday I havent decided to install the filter before or after the service. gotta tell them not to touch the filter or tires either way. part of me thinks since they wont listen better to have a brand new AVO in there and put a do not change filter note on the airbox than have a crappy stocker in there and end up being asked to pay for a stock filter i dont want. CTATV Posted April 7, 2008 Share Posted April 7, 2008 evan, you need help with the headlights? sure if you want. the Coxx has given me a few pointers over in another thread I think i have the idea but if you want to come up to Smithfield on thursday i could always use a hand... My pops is bringing all my tools up on tuesday including my heat gun and I have an oven in my townhouse so i think im going to use the oven but ive got both means of attack. Planning to heat after cleared and re-seal that way then add a little silicone after closed back up for a real good seal as my biggest fear is getting the dreaded moisture in the headlights... Im free thursday from morning till 3:30 when I have a class. Tomarrow im getting my new tires and wednesday I have it going in for the 30k mile service and then hopefully going to the RI meet.
