I was going to wait to install this until I got my TBE and have it all installed and tuned at the sametime. But I'm not exactly sure when that would be. So my question is, how will the car run with a TMIC and no protune? I have AP, so I'm at stage I right now. I also have AVO intake. Thanks! rao Posted March 17, 2008 Share Posted March 17, 2008 It will run the same as it does now; your intake is likely to cause much more problems than your TMIC ever would. Of course, you can wait for an extended discussion of theoretical reasons why your car will explode once you put the TMIC on, becasuae it is coming..... I'm assuming since it will run fine, it's not really going to make any power gains, and if there are any it would be minimal, as a pose to getting a protune would probably bring some more of the potential out of the TMIC?
