Livingtodie Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 I'm looking for a COBB CAI with MAF, i know COBB isn't making them anymore. I was just hoping someone may know a vendor that still has a few kicking around. I am also looking for the JDM smoke tail lights and center garnish for my 98, I use to see them on Ebay from time to time but haven't for months.
Reuben Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 I've just been looking, there's a set of clear sedan lights and garnish. Could always get some light tint out if you really want to. I've had both and white's fine And try zerosports.. ugh, scrap that.. only for turbo's. Could always drop an STi engine in to fix that..
greenspeed Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Some company needs to be kicking around bd parts still...It's really not fair...
pheonix991 Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 http://www.cosmoracing.com/productinfo.asp?cid=226&pid=1211 There is an intake for you. They also have a CAI.
Reason Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Go to SL-i.net and pm andivic, he can get you any JDM part you want. As for the COBB intake I don't remember them making MAF intakes, I thought they were all MAP base
Livingtodie Posted March 13, 2008 Author Posted March 13, 2008 Injen makes a full cold air, off the top of my head i know Rallitek.com has them.
Reuben Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Make your own? Should be cheap to get a shop to custom do one.
Reason Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Is there someone that makes a Full cold air? Injen, Cosmo Racing, OBX or you can piece one together. I would make my own or get the OBX system on eBay. It would be stupid to have a shop make a system for you.
jonklein611 Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 I made my own for $10. I think auto zone has a small adapter that bolts onto the end of your MAF. Basically a square with a pipe sticking out the side. On that pipe you can bolt a 3" cone filter. Just take out your airbox and you're all set. I can include pics if needed.
Reason Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 If you actually have to go and buy parts to make one you own don't expect to pay $10. jonklein611 lucked out and made one for nearly nothing.
Aczwild Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 boxer4racing.com JDM'd All to hell Thanks Jimmy @ Hkc-Speed.com! RIP Coxx & Thanks
Reason Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 boxer4racing.com Why make him pay an arm and a leg for a CAI when he can buy an OBX for $60 or even make one for less?
Aczwild Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 on there you can get the adapter to run a K&N etc filter eliminating the box JDM'd All to hell Thanks Jimmy @ Hkc-Speed.com! RIP Coxx & Thanks
Livingtodie Posted March 16, 2008 Author Posted March 16, 2008 i know i can make my own or buy a cheap one but i am a firm eliver in "you get what you pay for" i know the cobb intake is pretty much the best, guess its a matter opinion, made for the 2.5NA and thats what i was hoping to find.
Reason Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 i know i can make my own or buy a cheap one but i am a firm eliver in "you get what you pay for" i know the cobb intake is pretty much the best, guess its a matter opinion, made for the 2.5NA and thats what i was hoping to find. It's an intake, you can't go wrong. A aluminum tube is an aluminum tube. There real difference is in the filter. Don't belive the hype of over priced products.
Elliottlj Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 well if i just bought an intake what intake would you suggest cuz im deff not making my own lol
