So if you are going to do something like that make sure that it's something non-combustible that's used. Don't forget that electric motors also provides sparks, that is actually a bigger risk because the heating element takes a few moments to heat up. I can't find the video from Modern Marvels where the grain elevator exploded from grain dust being ignited...it was a massive explosion though.
